Jay has been a licensed broker in Montana since 1973. During this period he has had a long and well rounded career as a real estate broker, appraiser, developer and property manager.

Jay is probably best known for his restaurants, first as founder and chef of the world famous Continental Divide in Ennis, and currently as owner of the Mint Bar and Cafe in Belgrade. The Mint has undoubtedly become one of the most notable restaurants in Montana. Famous for their world class steaks and martinis, literally, almost everyone who visits the area ends up dining at the Mint.

Jay has a huge and extensive network of acquaintances, potential buyers, sellers, as well as an intimate knowledge of Southwest Montana gained through his years of fishing, camping and skiing in Big Sky, the Madison Valley, the Ruby Valley and in the Bozeman area.
